有朋自遠方來，不亦樂乎？離開師大九年，第一次當東道主，帶著同學在荷比德趴趴走。
After leaving NTNU for 9 years, this’s the first time that I have my classmate as my guest here in Holland.
雖說只有短短的三天半，我們還是充分發揮亞洲遊客的緊湊旅遊腳步，到了這三國的幾個旅遊勝地。7月10日下午在恩荷芬機場接機後，我們就直奔阿姆斯特丹，並在那裡過夜。次日，到贊斯安斯風車村、阿克馬乳酪市場、北海海堤和羊角村，把荷蘭的特色景點走了一遍。接著的週末，我們到德國的科隆和阿亨，荷比德的三國交界點及比利時的納慕爾，最後把他帶到布魯塞爾，讓他繼續往巴黎的旅程。這短短的幾天，對同學來說，從台灣到這三個文化習慣不盡相同的國度，應該是很大的文化衝擊（Culture shock）。帶著這充滿動勁的好奇寶寶出遊，也讓我能以另一種角度去欣賞這些不算陌生的景點。
Although we only have three and half day, but we still took the maximum chances to visit a lot of famous tourist points. After picked up my classmate at Eindhoven Airport at Thursday noon, we went to Amsterdam directly and overnight there. The second day, we continued our tour in Holland to Zaanse Schans, Alkmaar Cheese Market, Afsluitdijk and Giethoorn. In the weekend, we went to Cologne and Aachen in Germany, the three countries point (drielandenpunt) and Namur, or Namen, in Belgium. Then we droped down our guest in Bruxelles to continue his journey to Paris. I believe in these four days, he may have a lot of culture shocks in these three different countries.

阿姆斯特丹的運河總長約100公里，橋樑超過一千座。

這條運河的七條橋是一直線的。

這裡的房子，屋頂都稍微向外傾斜，還有定滑輪的裝置。這是因為以前這裡是以大門的寬度來課稅，大家都把門弄得小小的。若要把大型傢俱搬到屋裡，就用定滑輪把傢俱吊高到窗戶處，再把它們拉進屋子裡。
