Mulu Marriott Resort & Spa位於姆魯國家公園邊沿，是在熱帶森林中的五星級享受。她的前身是經營了20年的Mulu Royal Resort， 在2015年被納入萬豪國際Marriott International旗下後，重新包裝，以新的面貌提供頂級的酒店服務（相關新聞連結）。雖然姆魯的廉價住宿（Lodge）越來越多，我們此程還是選擇了星級酒店。我們三個人住一間房，含早餐。午餐和晚餐則是由旅行社安排到對岸的小餐廳吃合菜。這輯全是在Mulu Marriott拍的照片。
Mulu Marriott Resort & Spa is located next to UNESCO heritage Mulu National Park, a place where you can enjoy 5-stars luxury in tropical forest. Formerly known as Mulu Royal Resort for 20 years, this resort has been renovated and transformed into Mulu Marriott after becoming a member of Marriott International in 2015. We stayed here for one night, and these are the pictures taken at this beautiful resort.

續尼亞石洞之後，重頭戲來了：姆魯國家公園的兩天一夜遊。這是本人第四次去姆魯（是有點多，很多美里人都沒去過說），上次是2010年跟巴特去的，這次有湘群和大妹同行。因為往返美里姆魯的班機有限，去姆魯得早訂票，不然向隅的機率很高。也因為班次有限，機票價錢也跟著水漲船高，來回從馬幣300起跳。這輯是從美里到姆魯的照片。

上回是2005年跟巴特和好友運發一起來尼亞石洞，相隔十二年，這次舊地重遊，依然被這岩洞的壯觀氣魄所震撼。數數這應該是第五次造訪在鼎鼎有名的燕洞（因為產燕窩，本地人都叫它燕洞），亦是走得最慢、照片拍的最多的一次。可惜我們這四個女人被伸手不見五指、前後沒有他人的路段給嚇住，最後沒堅持走到壁畫洞，不然就是一套完整的尼亞石洞介紹。
This’s my 5th visiting to Niah Cave, and I am still fascinated by those amazing masterpieces of nature. This time, I did slow down my speed to take more pictures in dark caves. It’s a pity that we couldn’t make it to Painted Cave, and left a missing piece in this wonderful trip. Continue reading →

尼亞石洞有四萬年前的原始人遺骸和約1200年前的壁畫，是考古學家的天堂，也以產燕窩和旅遊業遠近馳名（參考維基）。既然湘群來美里玩，當然得帶她到著名的尼亞國家公園走走，開啟了她東馬自然之旅的第一炮。
Niah National Park is a popular tourist spot in Sarawak. It is an important prehistorical site for archaeology where human remains dating to 40,000 years ago and rock paintings dated as 1,200 years old have been found (wikipedia). As this is the virgin trip of XiangQun to Sarawak, we have to introduce her this unmissable location for sure. Continue reading →

這次返馬當了兩回地導：7月13-17日是西馬的湘群學姐來美里玩，7月22日起是巴特和他爸媽來三個星期。因而，除了陪陪家人，這次回美里也沒怎麽四處亂竄。這是7月10-13號拍的照片，就結集呈上（有在注意照片拍攝時間的朋友，請自行加六個小時）。

今年暑假回馬來西亞五個星期，是有史以來步調最緩慢的一趟。7號重考完，8號就趕緊向美里投奔。這篇記載從荷蘭到美里的行程，上圖為馬來西亞檳城第二大橋（全長24公里，其中16.9公里跨越大海，為東南亞最長的跨海大橋）。
This year, I went back to Malaysia for 5 weeks during summer holiday. After resit on 7th of July, I started immediately my journey at the next day. This post’s going to share the photos from the Netherlands to Miri. Above is the photo of Penang Second Bridge, or Sultan Abdul Halim Muadzam Shah Bridge. The total length of the bridge is 24 km with length over water at 16.9 km, making it the longest bridge in Malaysia and the longest in Southeast Asia (wikipedia).

【16返馬】20160715。吉膽島 Pulau Ketam (1)

吉膽島（Pulau Ketam），馬來文名字的直譯就是“螃蟹島”（Pulau=島，Ketam=螃蟹）。此島位於雪蘭莪州巴生港外，面積約30平方公里，居民約九千人，以華人居多。因為全島位於潮汐線下，所以建築物都建在高腳柱子上。這裡以漁業為重，也是著名的旅遊景點（參考維基）。說到吉膽島，老馬識途的都去吃新鮮的海鮮，我們當然也不例外了。這是去年去吉膽島拍的照片，既然已經挑了就貼上了吧！
Pulau Ketam (Pulau=Island, Ketam=Crab) is a famous tourist spot of Selangor, Malaysia, and it is located nearby Port Klang. The locals are mainly Chinese. There are two Chinese villages on the island, and fishing is the major economic activity here. Due to its location at intertidal zone, the buildings are on wooden (or cement) pillars. Nowadays, Pulau Ketam is also an unique spot to visit for culture and seafood. This’s our trip in 2016, but as the photos were selected already, I update this aging post as well to recall our visiting to this island. Continue reading →

【Vietnam】20160704。吉隆坡－河內 Kuala Lumpur to Hanoi

今年暑假的重頭戲：越南河內十日遊。除了巴特，這次同行的還有大妹和小妹，從吉隆坡坐亞航飛往河內，再從河內到下龍灣、陸龍灣和沙壩梯田，享受了精彩又輕鬆的旅行。
[NL] Deze zomer zijn we naar Vietnam geweest op vakantie. Samen met mijn twee zussen hebben we binnen tien dagen Hanoi, Halong Bay, Trang An en Sapa bezocht, en een mooi reisje gehad in een ontzettend mooi land.
[EN] During this summer holiday, we went to Vietnam for a 10 days trip with my two sisters. We got the AirAsia’s flight from Kuala Lumpur to Hanoi, and we arranged our tours to Halong Bay, Trang An and Sapa locally. This’s a great vacation with a lot of funs.
